Oliver Stone's W. to open Dubai

This year's Dubai International Film Festival is to open with a screening of "W.", the biopic on George W. Bush directed by Oliver Stone.

The festival runs from 11th-18th December and will feature screenings of an impressive 181 feature films from 66 countries. Now celebrating its 5th year, the festival's programme puts productions from Hollywood, Bollywood and the Middle East on an equal footing.

As for any major film festival, stars will be descending upon Dubai, and Nicholas Cage and Salma Hayek have already confirmed their attendance.
