Sex and the City: Four years later...

In this big screen adaptation, the story takes place four years after the final episode of the TV series "Sex and the City".

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) are still an inseparable group of friends. However, their preoccupations have changed slightly, as quite a lot of water has flowed under Brooklyn Bridge since we last heard from them.

Carrie is finally dedicating herself full-time to Mr Big, and the couple are looking to get an apartment together.

Charlotte and Samantha appear happy in their married lives, while Miranda shuttles back and forth between two lovers.

Everything seems more or less stable for the four friends... Or is this just the calm before the storm?
