Ghada Abdel Razek Not Afraid of Haifa Wahbi

The artist Ghada Abdel Razek asserted that her relationship with Ilham Shaheen is very good, therefore she did not hesitate at all in agreeing to participate in the new movie “Khaltet Fawzeya”(Fawzeya’s mix), especially as it would be her return to the cinema after a long absence.

She also said that the size of the role she will be playing particularly encouraged her to accept it as she believes that the director Magdi Ahmed Aly will succeed in presenting her in the best way as she will be playing the role of a woman living in a shanty town, and always causing problems with her neighbor played by Ilham Shaheen.

Ghada denied that her participation with singer Haifa Wahbi in the movie “Dokkan Shehata”(Shehata’s Shop)is making her nervous saying that she was certain it would be a difficult challenge, especially that everyone awaits  watching Haifa Wahbi in her first movie appearance, yet she trusts her own abilities and artistic potentials confirming that she’s not a small actress to be threatened by other performers, on the contrary, she’s a good actress capable to show her talent, especially in the light of presence of the director Khaled Youssef, who is well aware of her artistic capabilities and who knows how to employ them well as he achieved that successfully in the movies “Hiba Maysara” (When the time is right), and “Al-Rayess Omar Harb” (The Boss, Omar Harb).

Ghada justified her sudden withdrawal from the film “Al-Balad Di Fiha Hokouma” (There’re Laws In This Country), that the “alteration” in the scenario and her opposition to the changes done to it is why she decided to withdraw from the movie which she shot only one scene in.

She added that she had reached a certain level of artistic maturity that it’s become difficult for her to approve on roles that would negatively affect her artistic history which she deployed a great effort to achieve, stating that she doesn’t pay much attention to the accusations and hearsays that she’s often tied to particularly that she’s living the happiest days of her life due to the familial and artistic stability she’s dwelling in.

Ghada also denied that her wardrobe in the series “Tariq Al-Khawf” (The Path of Fear)is behind its exclusion from airing during the month of Ramadan, saying that she plays the role of a professor at the “National Center for Research” so how would she possibly dress sexy for such a role, indicating that she did not get upset at all because of the postponement of the airing saying that it’s far better for the series to air in a different timing than Ramadan and that her role in the program “Rayya W Sekina” (Rayya And Sekina) has won the admiration of viewers.

Ghada has finished recently filming her new movie with her husband, the producer Walid Al-Tabie titled “Azmet Sharaf” (Honor’s Crisis)with co-stars Ahmed Fahmy and Menna Fadali.
