The Final Destination : can Death be escaped?

A group of friends decide to go and enjoy the thrills and spills of the local racetrack. However, their day out does not go exactly to plan. As they watch from the grandstand, Nick (Bobby Campo) has a terrifying premonition of an accident, in which the burning wreckage of a car will hurtle into the crowd! If his vision is correct, Nick and his friends do not have long. The youngsters take the wise decision to abandon their seats. But will Death leave them alone?

Despite the addition of 3D, the "Final Destination" series has finally run out of steam. This fourth instalment, directed by David Richard Ellis, amounts to a sequence of frankly grotesque events. The actors fail to convince, considering the terrible experiences that their characters undergo. As is often the case nowadays, the more interesting bonus features are limited to the Blu-ray edition.
