(I Am... Sasha Fierce): Beyonce sees double

Nice idea by the queen of r'n'b to release a double album when all of the tracks could have easily fitted on one disc! Two years after the excellent "B'Day", Beyoncé Knowles has gone for a concept album approach with "I Am... Sasha Fierce".

Each disc shows a different side to the star's personality. The first presents her as clean-cut, but suffers from being comprised mainly of anodyne pop ballads.

The second is more rhythmic and contains the satisfying song "Diva", although even this number is marred by sounding uncannily similar to Lil Wayne's "A Milli". At the end of the sixteen tracks even devoted fans will admit that "I Am... Sasha Fierce" disappoints.

Just three or four songs stand out from the rest. We were expecting more of this great artist.
